WHY REVIVAL TARRIES IN DRAMA AND FILM OUTREACH MINISTRIES
“YOU showed favour to your land , o Lord ; you restored the fortune of Jacob .You forgive the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins. You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger .
restore us again ,o God our salvation, and put away your displeasure towards us . will you be angry with us for ever .will you prolong your anger through all generations, will you not revive us again ,that your people may rejoice in you. Psalms:85:1-5
,God opened our eyes to see His intention to use drama as a weapon to bring about salvation of souls,deliverance and revival to lukewarm souls.
GOD had invested so much in Christian drama to the extend that there is no where a drama is to be staged that will not attract people .
Many of our missionaries on mission fields are now making use of drama as a means of bringing people to gether.many churches can not do without staging a drama during crusades, revivals and other programmes.
The trend of drama evangelism in Nigeria has extend tremendously to the extend that people form the nooks and corners of Nigeria have been testifying to what God is doing through evangelical drama ministrations,
There are many drama ministries in AFRICA now , day by day ,the total numbers of ministry keeps increasing. Many new names keep coming out and many ministries keep going on locations while many keep staging drama from place to place . but the question in the heart of the people is that,with all this increase of drama ministries, why is it that revival still tarries in the ministry , yes ,some may say that there are enough drama ministries in NIGERIA presently that God can use to cause revival in the land ,but it is a pity that despite the fact that we have so many drama ministries in the land ,there have been very few results .our impact has not been so much felt by the people .many of us keep complaining about the secular dramatists polluting our nations ,through their lifeless, destructives and demonic films.tet we are doing nothing .we fold our arms professing that we are taking over the land with our mouth while sleeping and our weapon (drama) perishing.
Every day on my knees , I keep asking God that while does revival tarries to this extent in drama ministry ,I keep asking God that ,why have we not been able to go beyond this lavel ,why do we keep on having drama ministries without the anticipated impact ,why does God keep silent about the trauma befalling drama ministry .
And there came an answer from GOD THAT ,THE REASON WHY REVIVAL TARRIES IN DRAMA ministry is because ,we are not where God wantus to be .GOD said it is we (drama ministers ) that have caused the revival to tarry as a result of our disobedient .with the definition of revival and tarry compare with what GOD had told us ,we could see that revival cannot come until certain things are removed witin the ministry .
WHAT IS REVIVAL-revival means to return ,to restore and to quickening.
